This is a perfect basic garment for the wardrobe!
The body is knitted from top to bottom, back and forth on a circular needle. After the neckline, knit raglan increases on the yoke before knitting the torso. Then divide into front and back pieces to make leg openings, which are knitted back and forth one at a time. Stitches are picked up for leg edges and buttonholes that are knitted at the end. Italian cast on and cast off is used on the edges so that it does not tighten, in addition to giving a nice result.

Gauge and size
We have chosen not to state gauge on this body because it is difficult to measure exactly as the rib knitting is very elastic. We have knitted the body in thin yarn which we usually get 28 sts per 10 cm in width on stockinette st. Rib knitting contracts when not in use, so the width of the garment is therefore much smaller than the width of the child when not in use.
